Objectives

In its mission the hospital undertakes to realize the following aims:

• Developing of the cares activity
• Improvement of the condition for patients admission
• Development of the human resources( the recyling,the continous training,the improving)
• Developing of search activity
• Cooperation with France: besides to direct relationships of cooperation begun and developed by research doctors and hospital services with different healthy institutions in the world,our hospital has started an institutional cooperation since 1974 with our French friends of CHU of Rouen and we have initialed a cooperation of agreement about all the fields( medical, paramedic and administrative). Moreover, supplementary French relationships with other CHU have been reinforced such as (Pitiè Salpértrière,Georges Pompidou,Bicètre)in fields like the cardiology,the bacteriology,the radiologyand the orthopedy.
• Cooperation with Spain: on the day after of the Spanish-Tunisian cultural,technical and scientific cooperation of Mixed Committee that was held in Madrid on 18th and 19th March 1997 and in following meetings between Spanish and Tunisian partners in coolaboration with the Spanish Agency of international cooperation in Tunis ,has been carried out with success a 5 year project of partnership between the Charles Nicolle Hospital and the Saint Pau Hospital in Barcellona with the help of the Catalan foundation for the health foundation.This project was articulated like that:
• Training workshops
• Training workshops
• Trainingships
• Exchange delegations
• Equipment acquisition
• Cooperation with Italy: The cooperation between the A. Cardarelli Hospital and Charles Nicolle hospital started two years ago, in June 2001, with the visit in Tunis of the delegation of the Cardarelli Hospital and S.M.O.C.( Hospital Medical School of the Regione Campania)followed by a mission of a tunisian group in naples in September 2002. These exchanges and these meetings have been surely short but, after them, a twinning convention was signed in( October 2003)that marked an acceleration and diversification of bounds with the two partners.A 2 years cooperation project has been drawn out that will involve 42 disciplines with a budget of 2.7206,90 E and surely put some solid basis for a long term cooperation.
